Hi folks!
First, let me give a shout-out to Bill and Steve for hanging out with me for Q&A time this morning and allowing me to go into full-on lecture mode regarding last weeks readings! I really like those articles apparently. For those who missed it, you can catch the recording here.
I am quite excited about our strategy session next week. So far, the non-green industry readings have provided us a common language for us to begin our applications of strategy to your specific business. That’s when it gets exciting! As you will hear Corey say many times, it’s your time to work ON your business, not just IN your business.
I have a few short materials I’d like you to peruse on the airplane on your way to Minneapolis. They include a couple of newsletters from Zingerman’s, an innovative food company that has, what I feel to be, a good grasp on their strategy (see Zingerman’s News May/June 2021 and Zingerman’s News July/Aug 2021). I’d also like you to read The Art of a Great Purpose Statement which contains tips that will be helpful next week. All of these readings are short and you can find them in the Mu Session Materials section of the EAGL website right after the primer videos you watched previously.
See you in Minneapolis!
Charlie
