Week 2 pre-strategy homework and recording of the June 2 Q&A session

Hi EAGLs!

First, a quick shout-out to Alla for being in the Q&A session this morning. We had a good discussion of the first two strategy readings and the strategy preamble video. The recording of our conversation is here:

This week, there is only 1 reading. It is called “Competitive Advantage & Internal Organizational Assessment” and it is under the Situation Analysis in the Strategy Library. It incorporates a traditional SWOT analysis with a value chain assessment. It’s another “oldie but goodie.”

But before you take off reading this article, I want you to watch the following videos — one talks about analyzing the internal capabilities of our company and the other looks outside the firm at the driving forces impacting our businesses. The links are below.
